    “The establishment of the Centre for the Pursuit of Excellence in Responding to Child Abuse and Neglect in Western Australia creates a unique opportunity to place leading research within the efforts of our service sector. This work is particularly timely as organisations respond to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

    The Executive Steering Group brings together representatives from the primary agencies involved in responding to child sexual abuse in Western Australia. This group will guide the research in this field as well as providing governance and oversight.

    This work is a collaboration between government and non-government organisations. Through this, the goal is to achieve better outcomes for Western Australian children and young people impacted by sexual abuse.”
